We live in a world where AI can generate music, turn selfies into Renaissance portraits, and schedule your dinner reservations. But ask it to handle invoice reconciliation, order entry, and file verification? That’s still a job for someone with 15 tabs open and a whole lot of patience.
We’re in the middle of one of the biggest shifts in modern work. AI is making headlines daily but while most of the public conversation centers on creative tools and knowledge work, the most meaningful wave of adoption is happening elsewhere: the operational core of companies, where manual, repetitive work has quietly persisted for decades.Â
AI is quickly transforming the back office in industries that software left behind.
The kind of work that relies on manpower and fragmented systems, that companies would historically outsource. Claims processing, data entry, compliance reviews, document verification. Essential, but not glamorous workflows.Â
For years, this was handled by massive offshore teams and packaged into business process outsourcing (BPO) – outsourced, siloed, and stitched together with manual effort. And that’s exactly what makes these workflows perfect for AI today, the kind that shows up, understands the process, and gets it done.
It’s not about replacing people — it’s about replacing the repetitive. And that’s where Sola comes in.
Sola is an agentic process automation platform. Businesses use Sola to automate workflows across any application – without code, without consultants, and without replacing their existing systems.
Teams can simply record a process once, and Sola turns it into an agentic bot that runs, adapts, and improves on its own, interacting with screens and platforms the way we do.Â
That means a logistics company can automate thousands of shipment updates in hours.
A law firm can handle mountains of complex filings without calling IT.
And a healthcare provider can reconcile billing across completely disconnected systems automatically, accurately, and without delay.Â
These aren’t pilots or prototypes. Sola bots are live in production, handling real workflows every day. Instead of brittle scripts or endless specs, it’s just faster work, built the way people actually do it.
Old-school automation (yes, we’re talking about RPA) tried to solve this, but it was brittle, expensive, and depended on a suspicious number of consultants. Sola is automation rebuilt from the ground up: AI-native, self-healing, and fast enough to deploy in days, not quarters.
For industries where the cost of engineering once blocked automation, the shift is profound.
Sola is powering the most critical workflows for Fortune 100 enterprises, AmLaw 100 firms, and billion-dollar leaders in healthcare and logistics today.Â
We're laying the foundation for AI in the industries that were long underserved by software – but stand to benefit the most.
I started Sola after years of watching teams do robotic, digital work by hand. At MIT, Citadel, and Thrive, I worked across research, quant finance, and product engineering, and everywhere I looked, the story was the same: the tooling wasn’t good enough. RPA promised too much and delivered too little, so we built something new.
My co-founder, Neil Deshmukh, comes from the world of deep AI research at MIT-IBM Watson and the Quest for Intelligence Lab.
Together with a team of former founders, operators, and engineers, we’ve built a system that’s powerful enough for complex work and intuitive enough for teams to use from day one.
Sola is for the people doing the work. The analysts, the compliance leads, the ops managers, the billing team. The people who make businesses run, and who’ve never had the tools they deserve – until now. This is a leapfrog moment for enterprises to reshape how work gets done.
If that sounds like the future you want to build, or the future your company needs, we’d love to talk. Book a demo and let’s make it real.
